They must also be registered with TSC, be unemployed, and have no record of leaving the Commission’s service on disciplinary grounds.
The Commission directed interested candidates to submit their applications online through the Teachers Online recruitment portal.
It also cautioned applicants against submitting more than one application form, noting that multiple applications could lead to disqualification.
TSC stated that manual applications will not be accepted and that shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original academic and professional certificates during the recruitment process.
The Commission further announced that successful teacher interns will be retained in their current sub-counties and stations.
According to the recruitment schedule, the application portal will open on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and close on Monday, August 31, 2026, at midnight.
TSC also warned applicants to remain vigilant against fraudsters seeking to extort money by falsely claiming they can influence the recruitment process.
It stressed that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and urged anyone approached by fraudsters to report the matter to the nearest TSC office or the Commission’s headquarters.
