20 Huduma Centres to Operate From 7am to 7pm in New Service Schedule

Kenyans seeking government services will now have more time to access them after Huduma Kenya announced extended operating hours at selected Huduma Centres across the country.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, July 15, the agency said 20 Huduma Centres across different regions will now operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., giving members of the public additional time to access essential government services.

The centres operating under the extended schedule are GPO, Makadara, Kibra, Eastleigh, City Square, Thika, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyeri, Bungoma, Embu, Meru, Laikipia, Kisii, Kitale, Kericho, Kakamega, Kisumu, Mombasa and Migori.

The move is part of Huduma Kenya’s efforts to improve access to government services and enhance convenience for wananchi.

The announcement comes just a week after Huduma Kenya rolled out sign language interpretation services at 20 selected Huduma Centres to make services more accessible to deaf customers.

The initiative, announced on July 1, seeks to ensure persons with hearing impairments receive the necessary assistance while accessing government services.

The Huduma Centres offering sign language interpretation services are Mombasa, Siaya, Nakuru, Kakamega, Vihiga, Makadara, Bungoma, City Square, Eastleigh, GPO, Homa Bay, Isiolo, Kibra, Kilifi, Kirinyaga, Kisumu, Laikipia, Marsabit, Nyeri and Samburu.
