Huduma Kenya has announced new media services across all its centres nationwide.
According to reports, the move is to bring government services closer to the people.
In a statement on Monday, May 11, 2026, the agency announced the rollout of advertising and announcement services by the government-sponsored media station, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
This will allow citizens to place funeral announcements, purchase media advertising space, and submit promotional or community messages without physically visiting KBC offices.
“Kenyans can now access KBC services at select Huduma Centres, making it easier to place funeral announcements and buy media space for adverts, promos, and community messages without travelling far,” Huduma Kenya said in a statement.
According to Huduma Kenya, the service rolled out at a Makadara Huduma Centre in Nairobi marks a new phase in the expansion of the Huduma Kenya one-stop shop model.
This aims at consolidating essential government services under one roof.
The agency added that the initiative to bring the new services to its centres is also part of a push to decentralise services and bring both public and state-linked commercial services closer to its citizens nationwide.
Kenyans visiting Huduma Centres will now be able to book airtime for announcements, process advertising requests, and access other KBC-related services at designated service points.
Huduma Kenya revealed that the servicers will be available at select Huduma centres for now before being rolled out at all its centres in the country.
