The operation involved officers from the Homicide Directorate, Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CR&IB), Operations Support Unit (OSU), and detectives from Nakuru North.

The two suspects are currently in police custody as investigations and interrogations continue.

The DCI further stated that detectives are carrying out advanced forensic examinations and reviewing key evidence that may point to a broader criminal network linked to the murder of the PCEA pastor.

Reverend Ndumia was killed on the night of May 3, 2026, after armed attackers broke into PCEA Tabuga Church in Nakuru.

During the incident, the assailants also assaulted the church watchman before stealing cash, mobile phones, and other valuables from the church office.

The investigative agency condemned the attack and assured the public that efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest all those involved.
