Activist and journalist Hanifa Adan has landed a new job as a host for The Generation Report.
According to reports, it is a weekly segment on Radio Generation airing every Monday from 7 to 10pm.
Hanifa is expected to join co-host Triciah Wayua to provide news roundups and analysis, drawing on her experience in youth activism and political reporting.
“Some personal news. I’ve joined Radio Generation as a host for the 7 to 10pm segment every Monday. Join us on The Generation Report as we bring you fresh, unbiased news,” Hanifa said.

The show is known to offer commentary on currenturrent affairs and politics, providing expert insights and a breakdown of the top headlines across Kenya and internationally.
In the new role, Hanifa is expected to bring her youth-focused perspective to radio, providing in-depth coverage and analysis of current affairs while continuing to champion causes she has long advocated for.
Hanifa is a journalist who studied at the University of Nairobi and has been a columnist for the Daily Nation since April 2025.
As a columnist, Hanifa writes primarily on governance, social justice, and youth activism.
She rose to fame during the Gen Z-led anti-Finance Bill demonstrations, where she actively protested and used social media to call for government accountability and challenge controversial policies.
