Kenyan boxer Alfayo Siwo has cancelled his highly anticipated boxing match against Mbali Mbali, a bout that had been organized by media personality and promoter Oga Obinna.
The fight had generated considerable buzz online after it was promoted as part of a boxing event expected to attract both sports fans and social media audiences.
However, the match will no longer take place after Alfayo announced his decision to withdraw from the contest.

In a statement, Alfayo revealed that he pulled out of the fight after learning that the agreed payment of KSh 100,000 was not enough for him to step into the ring.

Alfayo also raised concerns over what he described as a breakdown in communication between the event organizers and his management team.
He claimed that Oga Obinna had not been communicating with his representatives consistently, making it difficult to finalize the arrangements for the fight.
The lack of coordination, according to the boxer, made it challenging for his team to confirm important details regarding the bout and properly prepare for the event.
Before the cancellation, the fight between Alfayo and Mbali Mbali had already attracted attention on social media, with promotional posts and videos circulating widely.
The matchup had been presented as a highly entertaining clash that would draw fans interested in both boxing and online entertainment.
Mbali Mbali had also publicly expressed his readiness to face Alfayo in the ring, further fueling excitement among fans who were eager to see the two fighters square off.
