WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature in its latest update that lets users temporarily share a live location with an individual or a group.
According to WhatsApp, feature will be end-to-end encrypted, meaning that your location will be visible only to those you send it to, and only for the time you choose on WhatsApp.
Individuals will also be able to stop sharing their live location at any time and once stopped or expired, live location will no longer be shared.
To use the feature, and individual will have to enable location permissions in his or her device’s Settings, then Apps , then WhatsApp.

From there, the he is expected to tap Permissions, then Location, and turn on WhatsApp’s location access.
As a result, it will give you the option to allow it always, or allow it only while using the app, or never.
Additionally, to facilitate live location sharing, open any individual or group chat, tap Location, then tap Share Live Location.
You will now have to select how long you want to share for and, optionally, add a comment or emoji, then send.
