Activist Morara Kebaso has blamed Kenyans for the choices they make during elections.
According to the activist, voters who make careless choices during elections deserve to suffer in silence.
In a post on his social media platforms on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Kebaso claimed that those who make wrong choices at the ballot should not be excused.
“A governor will do well or poorly based on the voters he has. We cannot continue excusing voters who are careless with their choices. Ukipigia shida kura inafaa ukule shida bila kelele (When you vote for problems, you should enjoy the same in peace and silence),” he stated.
“Change does not begin with the leaders that you have. It starts with the voters that you have,” he added.
This comes after the activist recently said that he jobless Kenyan, poor farmer or overtaxed employees vote for corrupt leaders, only to later on complain when their expectations are not met.
“The jobless Kenyan or poor farmer or overtaxed employee is the same one who is voting for corrupt leaders,” Kebaso stated, adding, “Tumsaidie aje sasa (How do we help such a person)?” he said.
