The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has directed students with questions regarding the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results to submit their queries within 30 days.
The council noted that any queries submitted after the 30-day period will incur a fee. It also clarified that queries for the 2024 KCSE results must be submitted exclusively through the heads of institutions.
The notice follows the release of the 2025 KCSE results by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba.

Speaking at AIC Chebisaas High School in Uasin Gishu County, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba revealed that 270,715 students attained the university entry grade of C+ and above in the 2025 KCSE examination.
This represents 27.81% of candidates, up from 25.53% in 2024, when 246,391 students qualified for direct university admission.
Ogamba further disclosed that 1,932 students achieved a mean grade of A Plain in 2025, an increase from 1,693 students in 2024, accounting for 0.19% of all candidates.
