In a statement on Friday, December 19, 2025, the Mr and Miss World Kenya office officially announced the crowning of Ivy Trizah Muhenje as the new Miss World Kenya 2026.
According to reports, the announcement was made during an exclusive press conference and cocktail event at the Holiday Inn in Two Rivers.
According to the organisers, the move is the beginning of a new era of Beauty with a Purpose, placing greater emphasis on impact, preparedness, and international readiness.
The decision to hold an intimate crowning ceremony this year was driven by uncertainty surrounding the Miss World global pageant calendar.
With international dates remaining fluid and reports of a possible global final as early as March, therefore, the organisation opted to finalise Kenya’s representative early to avoid missing critical global deadlines.
