Court Postpones Ruling in Former Kabete MP George Muchai Murder Case

The court has postponed the ruling in the murder case of a former Kabete MP, George Muchai.

According to the court magistrate, he was not ready to deliver judgment due to a heavy workload and scheduled the verdict for December 30, 2025.

The four suspects related to the case faced charges of murdering the MP, his two bodyguards, and his driver on the night of February 6–7, 2015, along Kenyatta Avenue in Nairobi.

They were also accused of robbing a motor vehicle and personal items valued at Ksh416,000.

The incident occured in the morning of February 7, 2015, he was returning from a family gathering when his silver Toyota Fortuner was rammed at the Kenyatta Avenue–Uhuru Highway roundabout. Masked gunmen then opened fire at close range, killing him, his driver, and his bodyguards instantly.
