The Kenya National Highways Authority(KeNHA) have confirmed approval for the construction of the Rironi-Mau Summit highway.
According to KeNHA, the report which was submitted on September 15, met all the technical, financial, environmental, social and legal conditions.
“The PPP Committee delivered the decision during its 47th Extraordinary PPP Committee meeting held on October 9 and determined that the project meets the public interest, project feasibility and affordability criteria,” KeNHA stated.
“This disclosure is therefore made in line with the provisions of the PPP Act, Cap 430, The National Treasury Circular dated April 24, 2025, on Public Disclosure on Privately Initiated Proposals,” the authority added.
