Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF), has declined an invitation from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga to attend the party’s upcoming 20th anniversary celebrations.
Speaking to the press outside Wiper headquarters in Nairobi on Wednesday, Kalonzo stated that Raila had sent him a request to attend the ODM at 20 celebrations scheduled to take place at the Coast.
The leader of the Wiper Party expressed regret for supporting the former premier’s political ambitions for too long and stated that he would not attend the event.
Kalonzo claimed that President William Ruto is likely to serve only one term in office, drawing parallels with Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera, who conceded defeat in last week’s election on Wednesday.
