DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua has hit back at President Ruto after he mocked his academic qualifications.
While speaking in Nyeri County, Gachagua sensationally claimed that President Ruto holds a PhD in lying to the public.
He moreover accused the President of mismanaging the country despite his education.

Earlier on Saturday, while addressing teachers at State House, Nairobi, President Ruto took a swipe at Gachagua, questioning his academic background.
The Head of State remarked that Gachagua frequently complained about his level of education during his tenure in office.
“If you want to succeed, look for a more educated deputy than you. You put people around you who are more intelligent than you. When they help you shine, you take the credit while they do the work. I had another one who kept complaining that he was not learned, and then I realised he was going to fail me,” Ruto noted.
Ruto went on to lavish praise on his current deputy, Professor Kithure Kindiki, describing him as a highly intelligent and capable leader whose knowledge, expertise, and sharp decision-making have greatly contributed to the success of his administration.
