Rigathi Gachagua has launched a new branch of the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) in Kansas City, the United States.
In a statement released on August 6, Gachagua highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusivity and engagement with Kenyans across the board.
“DCP Party continues to strengthen its commitment to listening to the people of Kenya across the board, fostering a truly inclusive and responsive approach. It was my absolute pleasure to join Kenyans in the diaspora for the official opening of the Midwest DCP Office Kansas City Chapter, USA,” he noted.

According to Gachagua, DCP’s expansion into the diaspora underscores the party’s mission to unite and empower Kenyans, regardless of where they are.
This comes weeks after Gachagua launched the party’s North Pacific Chapter Satellite Office in Seattle, Washington.
The office which was unveiled on July 14 marked the first official DCP office in the United States, as Gachagua continued his outreach tour aimed at expanding the party’s presence.
The launch was part of Gachagua’s two-month U.S. tour, which began with his arrival at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on July 10, 2025.
