Three activists who were arrested on allegation of fueling the violence during the June 25th protests have been granted a cash bail of Ksh200,000 a week after the arrests.
Speaking on July 2, their lawyer revealed that the three, John Mulingwa Nzau, Mark Amiani and Mutunge Mwangi, would be released within the day.
However, they have also been issued several conditions by the magistrate, including desisting from activities that landed them in jail.

Commenting on the condition, the lawyer admitted it might be tough, as they are human rights activists.
The next mention of the case will be held on July 23.
The three activists were arrested on June 26 after being accused of being the masterminds who organised the infiltration of goons in the June 25 commemorative protests.
In its report, the DCI claimed that the three had used coordinated channels and social media posts to incite goons to violence, massive theft and destruction of property during the protests.
