A school bus veered off the road and plunged into a ditch on Tuesday, June 17, after the driver reportedly suffered an epileptic seizure while driving along the Kasarani-Mwiki Road.
The Motorists association noted that several students were on board at the time of the incident but no serious injuries were reported.
Moreover, the association expressed concern over the high number of accidents involving school buses noting that this is the second school bus-related accident in Nairobi this week.

Photos shared online showed the school bus could be seen stuck in the ditch on the side of the highway, although not much damage seemed to have come to it.
The incident occurs hours after another matatu ferrying students overturned on Thika Road, near Garden City Mall.
Luckily, no casualties were reported in that accident either.
The matatu was reportedly speeding when it lost control and landed on its roof, prompting swift rescue efforts from passersby and first responders.
According to reports, the matatu was travelling towards the Thika direction when the accident occurred.
Videos and images shared online showed the children safely seated by the roadside within the inner lane, though it remains unclear whether any of them sustained major injuries.
