Nominated Senator Hezena Lamaletian has claimed that her life is in danger.
In a statement, she alleged that in case of anything, a prominent Samburu family and its political allies should be held accountable.
“To my friends and relatives: If anything happens to me, one family in Samburu and its allies in the political class should be blamed”, Hezena stated.
According to her, the Samburu family has previously threatened her and her late father, and currently, they appear to be targeting her.
“After previously failing an attempt on my late father years ago (who beat them all mercilessly), they are now after me; from swearing to ensure my engagement flopped by all means (their clan supremacy battles) to consequently aiding social media misuse of my name with unfounded and very false allegation for reason best known to them”, the nominated senator added.
She further stated that she would continue to pursue justice and assured that she had left the records of the accused people with the relevant authorities.
