Three people, including police officers died early Sunday morning after a road crash at the Slopes Villa area in Kinangop, Nyandarua County.
The incident involved a police vehicle and a double-cabin pickup.
According to reports, the officers were responding to another accident in the vicinity when the crash occurred.

The police vehicle was reportedly speeding when it collided head-on with the pickup truck.
Several others from both vehicles sustained serious injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.
The accident comes weeks after several police officers died after their patrol vehicle collided with a trailer at Matisi along the Bungoma-Webuye Highway.
Reports indicated that the two vehicles crashed head-on, leaving the police car completely wrecked.
A recent report from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) indicated that between January and March 2025, Kenya experienced a concerning number of road accidents, resulting in 1,139 fatalities.
