Kenyan content creator Azziad Nasenya has found herself in the spotlight again over an alleged voice note that captured her borrowing Ksh85,000 from a friend.
In the voice note, the media personality was heard pleading the money from a friend to pay a hairdresser in Nigeria.
As she desperately borrowed the money, she cited a delay in the funds she had expected earlier last week.
“Please, I am begging. As we speak, I am in Nigeria. There is money that was to be sent on Monday, but I have not yet received and I am supposed to pay my hairdresser here in Nigeria. I only need sh85,000”, the alleged voice note said.

She further acknowledged that she has outstanding debt with the recipient but promises to pay back the new amount.
This is not the first time Azziad has been involved in such an online scandal.
Earlier this year, fellow content creators such as Mary Musyoka and Hannah Benta publicly accused her of failing to repay loans.
In the viral clip, Mary revealed a WhatsApp voice note that alleged Azziad had borrowed a loan of sh300,000 with a promise to repay.
Later on, she confirmed that the money had been repaid, celebrating the moment.
“My money is back, guys. Kumbe kelele husaidida”, she wrote.
