Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al Nassr, has shared an emotional statement after the team was eliminated from the AFC Champions League in the semi-finals.
Following their 3-2 defeat to Kawasaki Frontale, Ronaldo faces the prospect of another trophyless season in Saudi Arabia. Al Nassr was also knocked out of the King’s Cup in October last year, and they are currently eight points behind Saudi Pro League leaders Al Ittihad with five matches remaining this season.
As he awaits his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo took to social media to express his gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support. He also praised his teammates for their efforts on the field.
