Two people lost their lives and several injured after a tragic road crash on the Siaya-Kisumu road on Friday, April 25.
The accident involved a Kenyan Urban People Association (KUPA) truck transporting coffins and a public service vehicle (PSV) matatu.
According to a report, emergency responders rushed the injured to Siaya Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment.

The accident comes days after another deadly accident occurred along Thika Road near Membley, Ruiru.
The tragic incident involved a private saloon car and a trailer.
Four people lost their lives, while others sustained serious injuries.
According to the report, the driver of the private car was speeding and could not react in time due to poor visibility and the lack of warning signage from the trailer driver.
