Four staff members at the Body by Design Clinic are set to face manslaughter charges over the death of Lucy Wambui Kananu.
Wambui had undergone plastic surgery last year at the clinic where she faced her untimely death.
The suspects identified as Robert Maweu Mutula, George Wakia Njoroge, Lilian Edna Wanjiru and the owner of Body by Design Hospital were expected to appear in court yesterday for plea taking but missed court appearance.
This prompted the court to reschedule the hearing for Wednesday.
The four are facing charges related to the death of the deceased, who died while seeking services at the clinic, which was known as a health clinic.
The clinic, on the other hand was shut down by the Ministry of Health and the Kenya Medical Practioners alongside Dentists Council following the incident.
The closure was due to several violations, such as operating a health institution without the necessary license.
Furthermore, the autopsy report indicated that the deceased passed away due to complications from cosmetic procedures performed at the facility.
