Activist Boniface Mwangi has at some point had suicidal thought last month after the pain and trauma he endured during the protest.
The activist has been fighting for social justice which always comes with great personal cost.

Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi has recently opened up on a heartbreaking period of his life when he considered taking his own life.
Through a social media post, Boniface disclosed that early last month, he felt so overwhelmed by the grief, pain and trauma he had endured and considered taking his own life. He had even signed his will and texted a few people considering it as farewell.
The support and the love he gets from his family and friends prevented him from doing what he intended to do.
The activist further expressed his concern over the deteriorating political situation in the country moreover the issue of using excessive force against peaceful protestors.
Mwangi did not fail to criticize the president for labeling demonstrators as “treasonous’’ and deploying the military to quell the unrest which led to numerous casualties and disappearance.
Activist mwangi’s commitment to social justice always comes with huge personal cost. His family lives with constant fear of his abduction or murder.
Mwangi has also faced numerous threats and arrest but despite all this he always remains resolute in his fight for a better Kenya.
