Pope Francis remains in a critical condition as he battles with an early kidney failure.
According to a released statement, blood tests conducted showed mild signs of kidney failure, but the Vatican assured that the situation is currently under control.
The statement also revealed that Pope is currently receiving oxygen and has been closely monitored for respiratory function.

However, medical experts have warned that his condition remains serious.
On Sunday morning, Pope Francis participated in Holy Mass from his hospital apartment on the 10th floor of Gemelli Hospital, along with his caregivers.
He was admitted to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital on 14 February after experiencing breathing difficulties for several days.
He was first treated for bronchitis before being diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs.
Pope has been admitted to hospital multiple times during his 12-year tenure, including being treated for bronchitis at the same hospital in March 2023.
