The body of Elvis Munene, missing City Hall intern who went missing on January 29th and also KCA university student has been discovered.
He was found dead at the Kenya National Hospital (KNH) mortuary.
Reports indicate that hew transferred to the morgue after succumbing injuries while receiving treatment from the hospital’s ICU unit.
According to reports, Munene was admitted at the referral hospital after being a victim of mob justice within Nairobi CBD.
He died two days ago after being admitted to the ICU unit while nursing head injuries.

During the police investigations, it was discovered that Munene met with a friend (Keith Chacha) after leaving work.
They both went to town and bought a phone cover but while running their other errands, they encountered police who arrested them which led to Munene running away.
However, bodaboda riders near Kirinyaga ad Charles Rubia road nabbed him thinking he was a thief and subjected him to mob justice.
“It was around 6 pm. They were around four men and they looked to be friends as they headed downtown. At that moment, I felt to go and run some errands. When I came back, I found the guy had been beaten’ one of bodaboda riders told citizen.
” The was a phone-snatching incident downtown and people caught up with him as he was running. People beat him up and the police came and stopped the incident. An ambulance the came and took him” another eye witness added.
The investigations are still ongoing while the police are set to investigate Chacha.
