A man has struck his brother with an axe and killed him on the spot.
According to reports, they were arguing over ugali.
The argument took place in Seregeya, Likuyani constituency, Kakamega County.
The fight broke out when the two brothers identified as Reuben Lubatony and Michael Lukala were digging a borehole at their neighbours home.
Condemning the incident, the village elder cautioned residents against engaging in fighting and advised them to always seek amicable ways of solving differences.
“It’s unfortunate that Michael lost his life in such a painful incident. It’s better for residents to always seek peaceful alternatives to resolving their disputes”
The brother to the deceased said that the fight broke out after his brothers saw ugali leading to Reuben striking his brother in the head and killing him on the spot.
The mother of the deceased on the other hand noted that she tried to separate them but they pushed her aside and continued fighting.
