Ferdinand Waititu Appointed Farmers Party Leader

Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been named as the Party leader of the Farmers Party.

There have been a lot of speculations since Waititu had been impeached and in his recent corruption charges, he was banned from holding public office.

The former governor was found guilty and therefore sentenced to 12 years in prison or pay Ksh.52.5 million.

However, political parties are not considered State offices making Waititu’s appointment status valid.
