DCI have detained two female suspects who were arrested following the murder of a four year old boy after he soiled himself.
The mother of the 4 year old is the prime suspect in the murder.
The DCI revealed that after taking her son’s lifeless body to the hospital, the woman never returned to claim it for burial.

”The suspect, while in the company of her friend, is reported to have taken the lifeless body of the child to Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary on December 9, 2024, but failed to return after reporting the incident to the police as guided by the morgue officials,” DCI shared.
After the incident, the two suspects switched off their phones, raising suspicion that led the facility mortician to report the incident at Mowlem Police Station.
However, investigations revealed that the evidence given by the mother of the child having died while asleep could not add up.
This was after it was found out that the minor had succumbed to injuries inflicted on him after an alleged incident where the boy had reportedly soiled himself.
”Whereas the suspect initially claimed that the child died while asleep, it was found that the minor had succumbed to injuries inflicted by his mother after an alleged incident, where the boy had reportedly soiled himself while answering the call of nature.Upon deeper interrogation, it was uncovered that the main suspect is the biological mother of the deceased child; a revelation that has added an even darker layer to the already heartbreaking case of the boy’s untimely death.”
The DCI have moreover noted that they were doing everything possible to hold those responsible into account following the incident that happened in December last year.
