Jay Z, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Lawsuit Dismissed After Accuser Retracts Claims

A lawsuit against Jay Z and Diddy combs was dropped according to legal file submitted on Friday 15th February 2024.

The two were accused of allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl in the year 2000.

The lawsuit was initially filed against Combs in October 2024 in which the plaintiff reported that she was drugged and raped with Comb’s alongside another celebrity at an afterparty for the MTV video Music Awards.

The accuser claimed that incident caused depression that led to post-traumatic stress disorder and her being ‘largely withdrawn from society’.

The attorney representing the plaintiff referred to as Jane Doe was said to have voluntarily withdrawn the case.

The dismissal file was submitted by Lawyer Tony Buzbee representing other plaintiffs in lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct against Mr. Combs.

Combs on the other hand has so far pleaded not guilty in the case and has maintained his innocence in all the other cases.

The lawsuit featuring Joe was the only lawsuit that named Carter as a defendant who denied the claims.

“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere” Carter said in a statement.

He also stated that the case had caused trauma for his wife Beyonce and their children.
