Six Kenyans have been killed by suspected Al Shabaab militants in an attack at a National Police Reservists Camp in Fafi, Garissa County.
Reports indicate that four more people were left injured during the attack that took place during the morning hours.
It is alleged that the militants stormed the camp armed with assorted weapons and quickly took it over on Sunday morning.

After the attack, the militants looted the camp and made away with weapons used by the victims.
A multi-agency security team has since been deployed to pursue the attackers and mitigate further planned attacks.
Garissa has been among the targeted spots for the militia group in Kenya’s North Eastern region.
The attack occurred just a few days after the United States Embassy in Kenya issued a security alert to its citizens against travelling to those regions.
In the March 18 travel advisory, the Embassy highlighted Kenya-Somalia border counties, including Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera, naming them as high-risk regions and warned against visiting them.
Notably, five Kenyan chiefs were abducted by suspected Al Shabaab terrorists in the neighbouring Mandera County and their whereabouts are yet to be determined.
The administrators were travelling from Wargadud to Elwak Town for official duty when they were captured.
