Four criminal officers will be convicted of the death of 6-month-old Baby Pendo.

Previously, twelve police officers, including senior police commanders had been implicated in the matter.

The Director of Public Prosecutions, on May 5, 2025 made the decision citing lack of evidence as the reason why charges against the eight police officers were dropped.
