At least 13 people have died, and several others were injured in a gruesome road accident that occurred on Sunday, September 28, around midday.
The incident occurred after a passenger vehicle collided with a truck near Kariandusi along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.

Moreover, members of the public rushed to the scene to assist in rescue efforts as police carried out their investigation.
Photos and videos shared online showed the tractor of the truck involved veered off the road, leaving the body obstructing the road.
The badly crashed 14-seater PSV was pushed to the side of the highway.
The accident caused a major traffic jam, with police taking control of the scene to manage the situation.
This marks the second crash on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway within a short span of hours.
Earlier, on Saturday evening, September 27, a St Mary’s Ambulance was involved in a separate accident near Kimende in Kiambu County.
The ambulance was carrying six people at the time, including the driver, a nurse, a patient, her husband, and two relatives.
Photos sheared online showed the ambulance severely damaged, particularly at the front end.
