One person has been confirmed dead following a tragic late-night accident near Makindu along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The accident was caused by a crash between a Dreamliner bus and a tuk-tuk on the highway.
The tragic accident also left 10 others critically injured.

According to reports, the accident happened around midnight and was allegedly caused by a disruption from a tuk-tuk when the bus was travelling from Nairobi toward Mombasa.
Those injured were ferried to Amref-Kibwezi Hospital, with one more receiving treatment at Makindu Hospital.
The accident caused traffic congestion with authorities urging motorists to exercise caution as investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
This is the second accident that has been reported within a few hours of each other after an MP Shah Chania High School bus was involved in an accident on Saturday night.
The accident took place at Kinungi along the busy Nakuru-Nairobi highway when the bus collided with a lorry.
