Renowned dancehall music mogul Vybz Kartel has opened up about dealing with infidelity while he was in prison.
Speaking during a recent interview, Kartel revealed that his longtime partner, Tanesha Shorty Johnson, had been unfaithful while he was imprisoned.

“I have been with her even before I got famous and rich. Like I said, prison is dangerous because things get weird. When I went to prison, she held it down for years, and then she couldn’t hold it anymore,” he said.
Kartel went on to share that his13 years in prison put a lot of strain on their relationship.
He noted that even though her actions hurt him, he forgave her quickly because he understood why it happened.
“I still respect her as a human being. I am sure she loves me because even when I was in prison, I would still jump on the phone and tell her to make sure the bills are paid. She was there all through, but come on, I was in prison for 13 years. What did you expect her to do?”
Kartel however admitted that finding out about her infidelity was deeply painful for him.
“Big up Shorty, I love her, but she made me cry. I was in prison crying while you were out here saying ‘Free World Boss.'”
Kartel was recently released after serving 13 years for his involvement in the murder of Clive Williams, alias Lizard.
