Police have launched a manhunt for an online taxi driver accused of fatally stabbing a 30-year-old man following a road rage incident near Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.
The suspect allegedly fled the scene immediately after the attack and remains at large as detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The victim, identified as Kennedy N’geno, was rushed to hospital by relatives and friends but later succumbed to his injuries.

According to his family, Kennedy had travelled from Roret in Kericho County to Nairobi on Friday, July 31, to visit relatives.
He first spent time at his cousin’s home in Uthiru before the group later went out for drinks.
Later that evening, the group headed towards Pipeline, with Kennedy travelling separately from his cousin and other relatives.
The incident is said to have started after an online taxi driver allegedly rammed into the vehicle carrying Kennedy’s relatives from behind.
The driver reportedly became enraged, got out of his vehicle and smashed their windscreen before driving away.
After the incident, Kennedy’s relatives contacted him and informed him about the confrontation, explaining that another motorist had damaged their vehicle.
Kennedy reportedly advised them to stop the driver and seek an explanation for his actions.
A short while later, Kennedy arrived at the scene and confronted the driver.
The disagreement allegedly escalated, with the suspect reportedly pulling out a knife from his vehicle and stabbing Kennedy before fleeing.
Kennedy’s relatives rushed him to Mbagathi Hospital, but they were reportedly referred to Kenyatta National Hospital for specialised treatment.
Despite efforts by medical personnel to save his life, he was pronounced dead after arriving at the facility.
Police have since launched investigations and are pursuing the suspect as they seek to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
