Three advocates have been suspended from the Roll of Advocates due to professional misconduct.
On October 9, a Gazette notice stated that the advocates were found guilty by a disciplinary tribunal and suspended for different periods.
“PURSUANT to Section 69 (2) of the Advocates Act, Cap. 16, Laws of Kenya, it is notified for the information of the general public that final orders were made and the following Advocates were suspended from the Roll of Advocates by the Disciplinary Tribunal pursuant to orders issued in their respective Disciplinary Tribunal Cause (DTC),” the notice read.
Following the disciplinary action, the advocates re prohibited from their normal working duties till the suspension duration is over.
