The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced a temporary disruption affecting access to its Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS) Online Portal.
In a statement issued on Monday, July 27, the tax authority said the outage had affected access to the online platform, adding that its technical team was working to restore normal services as quickly as possible.
KRA apologised to taxpayers and other users for the inconvenience caused by the disruption and asked them to remain patient as efforts to resolve the technical issue continue.

The interruption comes just days after the authority carried out a scheduled maintenance exercise on the eTIMS Online Portal and the Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS).
In an earlier notice issued on Wednesday, July 22, KRA informed taxpayers that both systems would undergo planned maintenance beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, and ending at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, a period spanning 20 hours.
The authority had warned that the maintenance would temporarily render both the eTIMS and TIMS platforms inaccessible, affecting taxpayers, businesses and other users who rely on the systems to generate and manage electronic tax invoices.
KRA advised users in advance to plan their tax-related activities accordingly to minimise disruption during the maintenance window.
The latest outage comes as the authority continues to enhance its digital tax infrastructure to improve service delivery and support tax compliance through electronic invoicing systems.
The Kenya Revenue Authority has not indicated whether the current disruption is linked to the maintenance exercise conducted last week, but assured users that efforts are underway to restore full access to the eTIMS Online Portal.
