Political activist and Inject Party leader Morara Kebaso has criticised the Linda Mwananchi movement.
According to him, the movement is not yet prepared to provide the kind of leadership and alternative vision Kenya needs ahead of the 2027 general election.
He revealed that the movement, which has recently gained momentum under the leadership of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, does not have clear ideological direction capable of transforming the country.
This comes at a time when Linda Mwananchi has been expanding rapidly across the country, attracting prominent political figures and positioning itself as a major opposition force.
The activist has maintained that while many Kenyans are dissatisfied with the current political establishment, replacing one political formation with another without a distinct vision would not solve the country’s problems.
Additionally, Kebaso argued that Kenya requires fresh leadership grounded in integrity, accountability and new ideas rather than a recycling of familiar political actors.
He further urged young leaders to unite and create a new political direction outside the traditional political structures.
