The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has opened applications for seven senior director positions as preparations for the 2027 General Elections continues.
The vacant critical positions include voter education, finance, corporate communications, research, human resources, internal audit and coordination of county and constituency offices.
According to a statement by the IEBC, interested candidates have until Tuesday, August 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to submit their applications through the JKUATES e-recruitment portal, where detailed job descriptions and application guidelines are available.
According to the recruitment notice, JKUATES and IEBC are equal opportunity employers and have encouraged qualified youth, women, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and candidates from marginalised communities to apply.
Therefore, applicants are expected to submit a signed application letter, a detailed curriculum vitae showing current and previous employers, positions held and at least three professional referees, a copy of their National Identity Card, and copies of their academic and professional certificates.
Additionally , applicants have been cautioned against canvassing or submitting false information, warning that anyone found falsifying or misrepresenting qualifications will be automatically disqualified.
