Renowned Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz has officially confirmed that Mbosso Khan has left WCB Wasafi label.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Diamond explained that discussions were finalised in a manner that ensures a smooth shift for Mbosso.
“We have had productive discussions with Mbosso on how he will officially manage his work independently. Everything has been settled amicably,” Diamond shared.

Diamond moreover urged fans to disregard any rumours surrounding Mbosso’s exit, adding that he and Mbosso would jointly issue an official statement in due course.
A close associate of Diamond had disclosed that Mbosso would exit without any financial obligations.
According to him, the decision was made out of respect for Mbosso’s immense contribution to the label and him being on good terms with Diamond.
Mbosso himself had previously expressed a desire to part ways with Wasafi on good terms, ensuring there would be no animosity.
Mbosso, alias Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, joined Wasafi in 2018.
Through the years, he has built a solid fan base through his music, maintaining his place as a star in Wasafi.
