Martin Mwau, the second out of three alleged abductees body has been found.
He went missing on 16th December 2024 alongside Justus Mutumwa and Karani Muema.
This sparked tension among Kenyans and other Human right firms who decided to protest for their release alongside other abductees during the festive season.
Despite that, that there was no clear answer about their where about while a few of the alleged abductees were found.
Martin Mwau and Justus Mutumwa’s body were found at City Mortuary.
According to Mutumwa’s lawyer, his body was discovered in Ruai and taken to the mortuary on Wednesday 29th January 2025 and moved to City Mortuary Nairobi.
The whereabouts of Karani Muemi are still unknown
Regarding their disappearance, Justice Chacha Mwita had asked DCI Amin and IG Douglas to appear before the court and present the missing abductees whether dead or alive.
Amin and Douglas who finally appeared in court on Thursday 30th January 2025 after ignoring attempts stated that the cases about their findings were still ongoing and that they would deliver the report at an appropriate time.
Despite their statements, Lawyer Maanzo was contented who alleged that the story they came up with was not a real story.
Although they have confirmed that they don’t have the missing persons as police, there must be other State actors or criminals, and the responsibility solely depends on the police.
