Kylian Mbappe’s Scores First Ever Hatrick for Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé scored his first hat-trick for Real Madrid as they whipped Real Valladolid 3-0 at the Estadio José Zorrilla on Saturday night.

Kylian Mbappe scored the much needed hat-trick as Real Madrid defeated Real Valladolid 3-0 in the Spanish La Liga. The win was important to take the Los Blancos four points clear at the top of the standings.

Mbappe, who has had an inconsistent start to the season due to injuries, now has 15 goals to his name in La Liga. He ranks second behind Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski (16 goals) in the top-scorers’ list.

The hosts made early inroads, with Madrid shot stopper Thibaut Courtois saving from David Torres’ header. That was all about as good as it got for Valladolid as Madrid maintained dominance although they failed to create many chances.

Mbappé opened the scoring in the 30th minute after exchanging a one-two pass with Jude Bellingham to bury the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

The 26-year-old Frenchman doubled Madrid’s lead in the 57th minute after being set up by Rodrygo, calmly slotting the ball past Karl Hein.

Following a VAR check and a red card for Mario Martín, Madrid were awarded a penalty. Mbappé stepped up and converted with ease, sending Hein the wrong way to complete his hat-trick.

“I’m happy with the hat-trick but more happy with the win, I feel like I say that every week but it’s the truth. It was very important to win today after Atletico’s result so we’re happy and go back to Madrid with the victory.” said Mbappe

The former PSG star has scored in each of his last five games for his new club. He is now living upto every part the potent attacking force Madrid were hoping he would be.

“Mbappe is bringing a lot to the team, he’s found form in the last couple of months and obviously for us that’s a plus, he’s a player with a lot of quality. We’ve got an advantage in the league but there’s too far to go to say it’s over, we’ve got a small advantage and I hope we can take advantage of it in the coming games.” Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti told reporters

The league leaders dominated the match from start to finish.
