Bonfire Adventures co-founders Sarah Mtalii and Simon Kabu recently chaired a business meeting with their employees despite their differences.
In a video shared by Sarah on Instagram, the meeting started with an opening address acknowledging the team’s impressive performance despite challenges in the previous year.
“I need to call the meeting to order. I want to commend the entire team. I am seeing most of you for the first time in the new year. This is our management team, and I want to applaud them because I just saw the reports of last year’s performance. They surpassed the targets despite the challenges,” Sarah remarked.

The two appeared cordial as they interacted with branch managers during the meeting, a sharp contrast to their ongoing divorce proceedings at the Kiambu Magistrate Court.
The two have been all over the headline since last year due to marital issues that even forced them to go separate ways.
Sarah confirmed their breakup last April during an interview with Youtuber Christine Lewis, saying that the issues or the straw that broke the camel’s back–spanned ten years
She spoke of a variety of issues, ranging from baby mama drama to her children being taken away by their father, though she did not go into specifics.
“It reached a point I said I don’t want to live a fake life anymore. I will live the real me and who I am. Sometimes I see people are getting inspired by me and yet I’m just showing the good part, they have not seen the bad part. Many look at us like humble people, and we have become soft targets for bad people and that’s why you see sometimes I hit back. 70 percent were very good people,” she disclosed
