The house had been converted into a kitchen, and Salasya went on to show where his bed and kerosene cooking stove were located.

Talking of the rent, MP Salasya disclosed that the rent was KSh 1,200 but was revised to KSh 1,500.

“My house ya mbao na cardboards I stayed in for three good yrs in nakuru it\’s still available pale bangladesh though it\’s now serving as a kitchen .My rent was 1200 per month but it was increased to 1500 though the landlord was good hakuwa ananifungia mlango.Maisha ni safari but the most important thing is acceptance na maisha ya stove. No wonder I never had a girlfriend throughout my life in the campus.’’

The MP then visited a shopkeeper named Jimmy, who according to him would give him items on credit.

The two reminisced on discussing local politics. Jimmy disclosed that Salasya always supported Raila Odinga.

“You have made it in life. God can take you from grass to grace\” Jimmy said.

Salasya then supported the shopkeeper by buying some mandazi and soda from the shop.
