MP Kimani Ichung’wah Stirs Controversy, Refuses To Aplogize To Governor George Natembeya

Majority Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah has stood firm and out not to apologize to Governor George Natembeya.

Governor Natembeya had sent a letter dated 6th January 2024 and demanded an apology through three newspapers or a lawsuit would be filed over the remarks he made during Moses Wetangula’s mother’s burial in Kabuchai.

The latter dated 8th January stated that Ichung’wah had been traumatized by the situation and that the remarks he made did not amount to defamatory citing some of the statements made by Natembeya in the past.

I am telling you people that upon being sworn in, the President was handed the constitution, the Bible and what else? a panga. Wasn’t he given a sword what for? To butcher and slaughter people. And he has delegated all those powers of slaughtering people to us.

Natembeya had vocalized.

When I talk with my CS in Nairobi, CS Fred Matiang’i (Former Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of interior and coordination of National Government) I inform him that we have murdered fifty, and we want to ferry them, or else let the hyenas have a celebratory feast. I swear in the name of the Almighty God that this is the truth.

A statement also vocalized by Governor George Natembeya.

The letter from Ichung’wah’s lawyer also stated that Natembeya had appeared to cheer and affirm the statements that he now claimed to find defamatory.

Ichung’wah therefore warned Natembeya not to proceed with any legal action or be subjected to a high-voltage legal counter.
