Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has recently asked the government to go ahead and arrest all the abductees so that they can help investigations.
Taking to her socials, the senator stated that it is important for the abductees to speak out noting that everyone needs to hear their story.
According to Karen, it is not enough to inform everyone that those who were missing have been released insisting that we all need some answers.

“ It’s not enough to tell us they’ve been released and traumatized. We need their story. where were they? With who and what was happening while they were missing.’’
She went on to acknowledge that abductions have been the biggest story in the country criticising the media for not taking the initiative to get information from the abductees.
“Abductions are the biggest story in Kenya today. You would expect that after the release of the 2 their personal account interview would be trending by now. Media know that would be the biggest news. But where are those accounts?” the senator noted.
The senator concluded her statement by emphasizing that those released are in a good place to help start the investigations.
