The officers also dismantled brewing apparatus and distilling equipment allegedly used by illegal alcohol manufacturers at the site.

The operation forms part of wider security efforts by the police service to track down individuals involved in the production and distribution of unregulated alcoholic drinks.

NPS warned that illegal brewing activities pose serious risks to public health and contribute to crime and insecurity within communities.

The police service reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing illegal alcohol manufacturers and dismantling their operations across the country.

It also called for sustained efforts to address illicit brewing networks, which continue to threaten the safety and well-being of residents.
