Mohammed Ali Clarifies Meeting With CS Murkomen

Nyali MP Mohammed Ali has dismissed speculation surrounding his meeting with Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen at Parliament Buildings, saying their discussion focused on his knee recovery.

In a statement on Thursday, November 5, Ali described the encounter as a courtesy conversation and denied that the two discussed politics.

The legislator also rejected claims that the meeting signalled a change in his political allegiance, reaffirming his commitment to the Ukombozi political movement ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Ali dismissed the speculation as propaganda, insisting that he remained firmly aligned with the movement and would not abandon its political agenda.

His clarification came after the meeting attracted attention and sparked questions about his political positioning ahead of the next general election.

“Context matters. Facts matter. It was a courtesy conversation at Parliament Buildings about my knee recovery. Nothing more. Nothing less. Let them NOT confuse you with cheap propaganda. No politics was discussed. We are ROOTED in UKOMBOZI and We ain’t deflecting. 2027, We are coming at them, and for them!!  SEMA WANTAM,” MP Mohammed Ali
