Nairobi Water Announces 2-Day Embakasi Crackdown on Illegal Connections

Nairobi Water has announced a two-day customer care clinic in Matopeni, Upper Embakasi, targeting residents with illegal or unmetered water connections.

According to the utility, the clinic will be held at the Matopeni MCA’s Office compound on Thursday, September 17, 2026 and Friday, September 18, 2026.

It will start at 8:30 am on both days, with residents invited to seek help with water and sewer-related matters.

Nairobi Water said the clinic will provide an opportunity for residents to regularise and meter illegal or unmetered connections.

It will also address other water and sewer services affecting customers in the area.

“Residents of Matopeni – Upper Embakasi, we are bringing services closer to you! Join us at the Matopeni MCA’s Office compound on Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18, 2026, starting at 8:30 am,” Nairobi Water said.

Additionally, Nairobi Water said the customer care clinic will also focus on sensitising residents about the water and sewer application and connection process.

Residents will be able to get information on the steps involved in applying for the services.

The clinic will further provide an opportunity for customers to raise complaints and account-related queries.
